	CATHY GUZMAN I have always been interested in getting LASIK done. I was a contact lens wearer for years and was tired of fussing with removing and placing the lenses in my eyes everyday, also the cost of the contact lenses was adding up. 	LARRY KISHBAUGH Before my surgery I had to wear contact lenses to get my best vision. I have worn contacts for 30 years and was tired of the hassle. My contacts only gave me distance vision and no near vision. I decided upon the mono vision so that I would have near vision in one eye and distance vision in the other without glasses. I have been very happy with my vision since my LASIK surgery.

	HAROLD & ZELMA LANSFORD HAROLD: I have worn glasses since I was 17 years old. My vision was blurry, and I was unable to focus. Although I started wearing Bi-focal progressive lenses in my glasses as I got older, I still suffered with headaches in artificial lighting, colors were dull and I always felt tired from eye strain. I also suffered from motion sickness as a result of my eyesight. My wife & I went on a cruise and I was the only one on the boat that lost weight because I didn't feel like eating due to the motion sickness I felt on the entire trip. I usually bought a new pair of glasses every year which cost me about $500 dollars each. After the surgery, I realized how old I've become because now I can see myself clearly in the mirror. I no longer have to spend a lot of time searching for my glasses. I can identify bolts and screw heads by seeing them instead of having to feel them with my finger tips. I also enjoy reading again, and I have much better concentration. I no longer have motion sickness and look forward to our upcoming cruise. I plan to enjoy all that wonderful food I couldn't on our last cruise! ZELMA: I've worn glasses since I was 15 years old. As I got older, and because of my occupation, I graduated to wearing tri-focal progressive glasses, which wasn't fun at all. My eyes were tired all the time. I had to have my glasses on the night stand next to my bed so that when I woke up every morning I could find them. I had to deal with them slipping up & down my nose all the time. My lenses would get scratched & fogged up. It was always difficult for me to put on my make-up every day. I purchased a brand new pair of tri-focal glasses every year and the average cost was about $700. After the surgery, the first thing I noticed was how I could see colors better. I don't need to look for my glasses anymore. I've suffered with migraine headaches for many years, and now the glasses don't put more pressure on my nasal area, which always made it worse. It's easier to sew now and I can read a book at any distance. Everything is just easier!! We had the surgery two years ago, and now that we don't need to buy glasses, we figured out we have saved about $2500.00 dollars between us over the past two years!!
	HAL MEAD Before having the surgery I had to wear glasses to read and to see at a distance. After the procedure I no longer need glasses. I can read the newspaper. I notice colors much clearer instead of seeing everything in yellowish color. I noticed that our kitchen counter tops are so white. I also noticed the dirty spots on the counters that I didn't notice before. The house, my car, the yard, all looks so much clearer and brighter. I need to wear sunglasses when I go out in the sun because it is so bright. Dr. Sunalp is an excellent doctor and he explained every part of the procedure very well and he communicates well. My vision is now very brilliant!
	JOSE DAVILA I wore contacts and glasses for years, which I hated. Now I don't need to reach for my glasses when I wake up each morning. While on duty, when it was rainy or misty outside, my glasses would get fogged up around the nose area. I worried if I had the surgery, I might not meet the visual requirement of my employer. I am very satisfied since I had the surgery and I was able to return to work the next day. I could read license plates that I couldn't prior to the surgery. I also see everything much more clearly.
