Aquaflow Implant

- Step 1. Peritomy - A flap is made in the conjunctiva in preparation for the procedure.
- Step 2. 5x5x5mm Incision - The initial incision is made in the sclera.
- Step 3. First Scleral Flap - The first flap in the sclera is folded back.
- Step 4. Second Scleral Flap - A second flap is made beneath the first.
- Step 5. Excision of the Deep Scleral Flap - The second flap is removed entirely, leaving a space for the implant to be inserted.
- Step 6. Removing the Inner Wall - A section of the inner wall of Schlemm's Canal is removed, improving aqueous flow.
- Step 7. Pre-Place Suture - A suture is put in place in preparation for the placement of the implant.
- Step 8. Placement of AquaFlow© Device - The device is sutured into place over Schlemm's Canal.
- Step 9. Closing Superficial Scleral Flap - The top flap is folded back into place and sutured loosely.
- Step 10. Watertight Closure - The conjunctiva is folded back into place, creating a watertight seal.
